During 7-9th of June I will be participating in the 40HR FAMINE!!
There is a twist…
Usually participants will go 40 hours without food but famine doesn’t have to be just food so I decided to come up with a different idea.
People like me living in developed countries use up to 70 litres of water everyday whereas developing countries only use up to 10 litres! This doesn’t mean clean water for them either. So, for this year’s famine I’m going to try to use only 16 litres of water in the 40 hours and experience what it’s like to live with that amount of water (I will need to take account of sanitation and health so this will not be an accurate measurement of 10 litres but I will cut down on whatever I can).
I will upload a video afterwards and let’s see how it goes! Please click on the link to sponsor me and help the children in Papua New Guinea OR come join me and participate in the 40HR Famine!
Art and Science combined together creating fascinating sculptures.
Awesome pop-like art made by Rubik cubes.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Homes made out of shipping containers save a lot of materials and also puts old shipping containers to good use. It reminds me of Christchurch and their new shopping area also made from shipping containers.
A hanging installation made from ping pong balls depicting a gun (I do not have much knowledge on guns so I do not have a deep analysis of this piece of art).
Anchor with Wings
You be the anchor that keeps my feet on the ground. I’ll be the wings that keep your heart in the clouds.
Delicate pieces of work with detail and theme.
Design Is A Mix Of Things
Design is in everything we make, but it’s also between those things. It’s a mix of craft, science, storytelling, propaganda, and philosophy.
Beautiful use of geometry and landscapes.
